Founder's Story

My name is Georgieann Harrington, and my journey to launching ClearPathways Career Coaching is deeply personal. As an ethnic minority professional and leader, I have firsthand experience navigating the complexities of career advancement in global organizations. Over my 20+ years in leadership roles at LinkedIn, Google, and Kantar, I encountered numerous challenges—but also found ways to break barriers and achieve success.

Through mentorship, resilience, and strategic career moves, I advanced into executive roles and led high-impact initiatives in corporate environments. Along the way, I became passionate about helping others from underrepresented backgrounds navigate their own professional journeys. That's why I launched ClearPathways—to be the career and leadership guide I wish I had early in my journey.

My Personal Why

I've always believed that talent is universal - but access is not.

As a Black woman from the Caribbean, I built a 20+ year career across global organisations, often navigating leadership without a map - and without the social codes, mentorship, or access many others took for granted.

I wasn't taught how to negotiate, how to manage up, or how to read corporate culture. I didn't have the networks, the coaching, or the behind-the-scenes conversations that unlock careers. And I didn't see people who looked like me at the top. I learnt along the way formally by pursuing an MBA and informally through experience and failure.

Still, I rose.
But it was rarely easy, and far too often, it was lonely.

That's my story. And it's the reason I created ClearPathways.

Because so many underrepresented professionals are qualified but isolated, ambitious but unseen, and capable but unsupported. And it doesn't have to be that way.

I coach to create the kind of space I wish I had earlier in my journey:
A space where people can think out loud, unpack the invisible rules, build confidence, and rise - on their terms.

This work is about more than getting the next role.
It's about reclaiming power, clarity, and belonging in a world that often withholds all three.
